You never know who you will meet while traveling across the US. Fun people all around you. We crossed the hoover dam and before we crossed had to stop to be check out. I am not a shy person so had to get my and hubby pictures taken with these handsome dudes with big guns. I love the long arm of the law and having my pictures taken with them.

Strangers I Meet Along The Road of Life # 2
We heard that there was a flea market only a few miles from us a couple of weekends ago. Sad to say not a flea market in my opinion. One dealer who is an antique auction group. They seem to have mainly dark furniture and nothing of interest to me. The only other sellers were not even open when we visited.
Only fun part of this stop was this gentleman who was showing off his gun collection. Not for sale just showing off his nice collection. He was dressed directly from the old West and I visited with him for a bit. There was to be another gentleman there and they would have fake gun fights, but he also never showed up.
So a real waste of time at this flea market except for this fun character. Never got his name but I am going to call him " Black Bart ".

Strangers I Meet Along The Road of Life #1
It has been awhile since I have taken the time to post a picture. Life is busy and hard to find pictures I want to share.
Thought I would change this to strangers I have met on my wanderings of life.
Today I am going back in time. We were traveling last year and loved to stop in small towns and eat in cafes that were mom and pop businesses.
We stopped one day in Casey Iowa at this little cafe in off the main highway by quite a bit and found two interesting men plus a cool patriotic wall mural. I did ask my new friends if I could take this picture and that they would be famous someday on the Internet. Thanks guys.
Hope that you enjoy meeting meeting my new friends.

Tree Almost Lands On Gravestone
This picture shows a near miss when an old tree in a cemetery here in Richmond, Texas almost hit an old gravestone.
We are having a lot of rain, thunder and lightning these last weeks. I went to the cemetery to take pictures for my other blog site http://wanderinggraveyardrabbit.blogspot.com/ and to post on http://www.findagrave.com/ and came across this tree almost laying on a gravestone.
It caused no damage I can be happy to say.
