Day 5 Project 365 Book Hunting At Wisconsin Thrift Store

Hubby found a new ( to us ) thrift store in Superior Wisconsin. Up scale looking, clean and tidy. Up a long flight of stairs is a small section of books reasonably priced.

I found fairly rare cookbook " Tough Guys Don't Dice A Cookbook For Men " by James Thorson.

I found 8 copies for sale on amazon starting at $ 28.28 ( ex library copy ) up to unbelievable price of $103.30.

And off in another section I found a group of sewing patterns. Among them I found a vintage pattern for a blouse to sell on eBay. It is from 1945 and is great example of ladies clothing styles.

okay today you get 3 pictures for the price of 1. I just so I can show you the two items I found to resell on the Internet this month.

Day 1 Project 365 Kung Pao Chicken

Today lunch at a local Chinese restaurant here in Duluth. I ordered one of my favorites.
Kung Pao Chicken and sweet and sour chicken combination plate. Picture is not very good and either was the Kung Pao Chicken. Will go back to our favorite place or maybe give some of the other Chinese restaurants a try.

Grace's Project 365

I heard about Project 365 a while ago and thought it was a fun interesting idea. I had heard about something like this about 2003 or 2004 and took pictures every day for awhile but that faded with the cost of having photos printed. Now with my digtal camera I plan to give it a try again. The idea is a simple one, take and post one picture every day for 365 days.
It will become a visual diary of one year of your life.

I'm told it makes you a better photographer as you strive to find something interesting to photograph every day. Sounds good to me but will force me to get out of the house to find an intersting photo. Some days that may be a challenge but a good one.

The key to this project is to keep doing it every day. I know there will be days when I'm busy or tired or when I just don't want to be bothered to leave that house.

I'm going to try to snap a picture anyway. Whether or not I post every day will be or several in a row will be seen. So if you want to see where life takes me this year just stay tuned!
And while you are at it check out one of my favorite genealogy bloggers as she now has a new blog up for her 365 project.
Care to join in please leave me a comment with your page so I can watch your pictures .
